Help Us to Help Our Community

The Howe Trust not only looks after 26 acres of community land. We also help support some of the most vulnerable in our community.

Why Donate to The Howe Trust?

Typically we work with our local schools to fund school trips and other extracurricular activities for disadvantaged children and young people. We also help buy specialist equipment for individuals with special needs or donate money to buy household goods for women and children fleeing domestic abuse.

Our Christmas Hamper Initiative is now in its 4th year and helps over 100 of the poorest local families with a healthy, seasonal food parcel.

We also work with other village organisations to support community initiatives – such as donating to pay for youth work, social opportunities for the elderly or entertainment for village events.

If you are interested in helping us support nature and biodiversity, then you can do this by planting a tree or sponsoring a bench on the Howe – either in our memorial tree area or elsewhere on The Howe. Please get in touch for more details.
